Step Inside Chlöe Bailey’s Serene Los Angeles Home, where she and rapper Tyga went on a date

Honestly, Chloe Bailey is rarely at home. The singer-songwriter and actress, now known only by her mononym Chlöe, adheres to a strict schedule.Consequently, she spends the majority of her time travelling from one location to another, whether she is attending meetings at the Parkwood Entertainment office, recording sessions in the studio, modelling for a photo shoot, or serving looks on the red carpet. However, Chloe has a sanctuary in Los Angeles that she designed in collaboration with West Elm where she can escape the demands of her very hectic schedule..

The 1,300-square-foot apartment signifies a new chapter in her “adult” existence. The 23-year-old, who grew up in Atlanta, values the cosy origins of Southern comfort. “That piece of me is definitely in the flat,” Chlöe says via Zoom.”I think where L.A. comes in is that view,” she says, referring to the breathtaking panorama from her first adult home.”It’s impossible to avoid, especially with the Hollywood sign.”I always want things to feel pleasant and airy, as this is what I remember from my childhood home.”

Chlöe’s aesthetic vision for her flat was straightforward: a zen space that felt “elegant, chic, and elevated,” while simultaneously emanating “boss bitch” energy. It is a reflection of all the qualities she possesses: self-assurance, ambition, and kindness.(Can you confirm that her sun is in Cancer?Chlöe’s flat was designed in close collaboration with her godmother, who resides a few minutes away, over the course of five months after she moved in last July.y. “It was so much fun because I’ve always loved her home and style,” she says of Jo.h. “It’s as if I have a piece of her with me now.”.”

From there, Chlöe collaborated with West Elm to add neutral and warm-toned statement pieces that are simple yet striking. Her favourite hues, ranging from a spectrum of melancholy blues to the brass of a media console and its decorative, eye-catching objects, are prominently displayed throughout the room. Overall, the process of furnishing the house was relatively painless and did not involve much hefty lifting. Towards the end of December 2012, the flat felt ultimately complete.

The entryway functions as a literal trip down memory lane due to the collection of framed photographs and paintings that adorn it. Some are photographs, while others, such as an oil painting by Theo Reijnders, depict Chlöe performing alongside her younger sister, Halle. This area functions as a runway in part because of the large floor mirror at the end of the hallway.

As with her music, Chlöe is meticulous about the atmosphere in her residence. Although the guest room serves as her workstation and is where she conducts business, it is not an office.Chlöe calls this room her zen space, emphasising that she “wanted it to feel like a huge breath of fresh air.”One of the standout pieces is the ink-blue velvet sleeper sofa that complements the wallpaper flawlessly.”It feels unlike any other room in the house,” she continues.

The vignettes are also peppered with inspirational mantras and slogans. On her desk, there is a plaque that reads “Do Epic Sh*t” next to the recording apparatus. “It’s all about pumping yourself up for the day,” Chlöe explains.

The most unique item of furniture she currently possesses is a queen-size bed, which can be found in her bedroom. “My godmother gave me that, and every time I lie on it, I feel like a princess,” she says. It looks incredibly grand. Chlöe can usually be found dozing in the living room with her dog, Common, if she is being truthful.”I always fall asleep on the couch,” she acknowledges. That is without a doubt Chlöe’s favourite location to be.
