The guitar of the band Pink Floyd has a record price of 4 million USD
The legendary guitar owned by David Gilmour – lead singer of rock band Pink Floyd was sold for more than 3.97 million USD, becoming the most expensive guitar of all time.

Singer Gilmour has raised over 20 million USD for charity after auctioning more than 120 items from his personal collection.
The record auction took place at Christie’s Auction House in New York City on Thursday, including famous musical instruments used by Gilmour in the history of the band Pink Floyd.
This musician’s legendary Fender Stratocaster guitar, named “Black Strat”, was used to record the band’s hit albums, including The Dark Side of the Moon (1973), Wish You Were Here (1975) ), Animals (1977) and The Wall (1979), was the most outstanding lot for $3,975,000, setting a new world auction record for a guitar.
Other notable lots include Gilmour’s Martin D-35 acoustic guitar for more than $693,000, and the famous 1955 Gibson Les Paul guitar he used in his solo guitar hit Another Brick in the Wall (Part 1). 2). This guitar sold for a crazy price – over $400,000, far exceeding the original asking price of about $27,700 to $48,500.
Proceeds from the auction will be donated to Gilmour’s charity to fund hunger eradication and homeless assistance projects around the world.
