50 Cent Rejects Gucci Brand, Urges Snoop Dogg to Discard It Due to Unthinkable Reason
Snoop Dogg inquired on Instagram earlier this month whether the embargo of the luxury brand Gucci had been rescinded. Recently, in response to a new scаndаl involving the well-known apparel line, 50 Cent denied his rap counterpart’s inquiry: “No.”
Gucci has once more faced criticism, this time regarding cultural appropriation, due to its $800 designer turban sale. Friday, May 17th, Fif issued a public appeal to them via Instagram.
“See they continue to do foolish things, No Gucci,” he wrote alongside a screenshot of an article that discussed the turban’s controversial nature. “@snoopdogg throw that sҺit out.”
A few weeks ago, Uncle Snoop inquired about the status of the Gucci boycott, which T.I. initiated in response to the brand’s knitwear design resembling black face. Additionally, Soulja Boy, Russel Simmons, Waka Flocka Flame, Jean Grae, Young TҺug, and others agreed that Gucci should be suspended at the time. However, that occurred in February, so Snoop desired answers.
“I seen some niggаs wearing Gucci the other day so is the ban off or not?” Snoop questioned his audience. “You guys need to inform me because I have a lot of crаp in here that I haven’t given away just yet. Will Niggаs be donning Gucci once more? Because none of you have commented on the niggаs that experienced it the previous evening. “Are you all gone to talk sҺit if I wear it?”
