Nicki Minaj and Cardi B’s rivalry gets 50 Cent involved.
Cardi B, 50 Cent, and Nicki Minaj
Following the revelation of a dispute between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B over the weekend, 50 Cent has entered the fray.
On Friday, the two allegedly clashed at a New York Fashion Week celebration; photographs appear to show Cardi being escorted away from the establishment.
Following the positions taken by the controversial rappers Tekashi 6x9ine and DJ SpinKing, 50 Cent has now provided his own rationale for the dispute.
Tekashi can be seen swaying to DJ SpinKing’s rendition of Nicki’s music in a club, as captured on online video.
Amidst the release of ‘Fefe’ featuring Minaj, however, Tekashi’s circumstances abruptly alter drastically.
The DJ interrupts the song and replaces it with Cardi B’s Bodak Yellow before stating, “I’m sorry, Nicki, but I’m on the side of Cardi B.”
Then, Tekashi is observed swaying to Bodak Yellow, the song that 50 Cent disputes. He is concerned that the action may cause Tekashi to turn against Minaj.
“No @djspinking, that’s female s***, stay away from that; Nicki will be furious with 69 for showing up, believe me,” the rapper warned in an Instagram post that has since been deleted.
“That South Side sҺite she is.”
Nonetheless, it appears that Tekashi’s deeds ultimately failed him, as he was spotted with Minaj last night.
In the interim, the altercation commenced when Cardi B purportedly confronted Minaj regarding the “lies Nicki was spreading.”
A security officer allegedly elbowed Cardi B in the face before she threw a shoe at Minaj, who appeared to be unharmed by the incident. As of yet, Minaj has not issued a statement regarding the incident.
After being escorted out barefoot, Cardi noticed an elevated bruιse above her eye. Video footage captured the incident.
Cardi B can be heard repeatedly yelling “…….. come here” at Minaj in the video, while security attempts to dissuade the two. Additionally, Variety verified that the combatants were Cardi B and Minaj.
