Arsenal loses to Fulham: Poor form similar to MU, Coach Arteta criticizes the lackadaisical performance of the “Gunners”

After the goal, Fulham tried to attack and Arsenal gave the home team many opportunities to reach Raya’s goal. In the 28th minute, Cairney sent a pass from the left wing to eliminate Arsenal’s entire defense, allowing Jimenez to easily score the ball near the right post.

In order for the home team to equalize, Arsenal stepped up and played an overwhelming attack in the remaining minutes of the first half but were unable to score. The away team’s most significant opportunity came in the 43rd minute when Odegaard shot the ball narrowly past the left post.

Entering the second half, Arsenal could no longer maintain their sharp attack ability. In the 58th minute, from a corner kick by the home team, the ball was mixed up in the Arsenal penalty area and De Cordova-Reid quickly scored from 5 meters away, increasing the score to 2-1.

Despite being behind, Arsenal could not rally in the remaining time. Arteta’s army did not attack well in the second half, only having 5 shots that did not hit the target. Unable to equalize, Arsenal bitterly received consecutive defeats and remained stuck in 4th place with 40 points.
