Following his trade to the Los Angeles Lakers, Dennis Schroder has finally found a place to call home three months later. The contemporary property in Tarzana, which is approximately 20 miles away from Staples Center, was purchased by the German-born point guard for $4.275 million, according to the records.
Over the course of their careers, a number of Lakers players, notably Derek Fisher and Nick Young, have called the San Fernando Valley area their home. According to the records, Schroder’s place was initially offered for sale at a price of $4.5 million during the summer of last year.
The property features a basketball court on the side of the house, as well as a guest bedroom with a basketball motif, orange walls, and a miniature basketball hoop over the bed. This is a perfect fit for the athlete who has played in the National Basketball Association.
Its exterior is covered in a variety of dramatic colors of black and gray. Inside, the living areas are sleek and contemporary, and they are characterized by clean lines and walls of glass. A wine cellar is tucked away behind the curving staircase, and the open floor layout features a fireplace that extends from floor to ceiling in the center of the space.
In addition, there are seven bedrooms, ten bathrooms, and a movie theater within the 8,400 square foot floor space. The primary suite is located on the upper floor and offers two closets as well as balconies that face out over a backyard that is equipped with a Jacuzzi, an outdoor kitchen, and a swimming pool.
Before being selected by the Atlanta Hawks in 2013, Schroder, who is now 27 years old, was a prominent figure in Germany. Before he was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers in November, he had been with the franchise for a total of five years, including two stints with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Compass’s Kobi Costa was the one who had the listing. Schroder was represented by Michael Henderson, who was also employed by Compass.
