A slam dunk was the party Riley Russell’s parents, NBA star D’Angelo Russell and his partner Laura Ivaniukas, threw for his first birthday, which was recently celebrated. Everyone was hoping to get an invite to the event.

 

The celebration honored the Los Angeles Lakers, a team that D’Angelo Russell now proudly represents once more, with a beautiful display of purple and gold. It couldn’t have been more appropriate for D’Angelo, who is expected to return victorious this season as the team’s point guard after playing for the Lakers for the last time in 2017.

 

Riley looked amazing in her Lakers-inspired attire. The child was dressed like a future basketball star, complete with a miniature Lakers jersey. Basketball player cards, posters, and banners were used as decorations to create an authentic NBA atmosphere that had everyone giddy with anticipation.
