Declan Rice puts his Arsenal woes behind him by playing Golf with Rory McIlroy in Dubai

Declan Rice and Rory McIlroy strolled through a Dubai golf course while he attempted to leave his current troubles at Arsenal in the past.

An impression has been made by the 24-year-old England international, who joined the Emirates from West Ham in the summer.

Currently, the Gunners are in Dubai for their winter break, attending a training program in warm weather.

After being eliminated from the FA Cup, Arsenal were beset by additional adversity in the form of a disappointing December in the Premier League.

Nevertheless, it appears that Rice, who was observed in the company of Northern Irish golfing superstar McIlroy, has not been deterred by that catastrophic loss.

In anticipation of his season debut, the four-time major champion has augmented his training regimen.

McIlroy, an avid supporter of Manchester United, recently stopped by Gary Neville’s The Overlap podcast for a conversation.

There, he recounted some humorous anecdotes, including how Roy Keane refused to sign an inscription for him when he was younger.

Rice, an ardent golf enthusiast, was spotted supporting West Ham supporter Billy Horschel at the BMW PGA Championship in the past.

Beginning at 12.30 on Saturday, January 20, Arsenal will host Crystal Palace in an early commencement match.
