The entire family stayed put for the birthday celebration, wearing matching brown coats (Wade and his wife looked gorgeous), with Kaavia donning a sweater with stars on it.

There for the celebration were Wade’s 21-year-old son Tragil as well as Wade’s oldest son Zaire. Wade shared on Instagram that close Miami friends Rick Ross and former Heat player Udonis Haslem joined him in the festivities.

In addition to sharing pictures of Haslem giving a statement on his Instagram Story, the former basketball player was in town this week to have the Miami Heat retire his jersey.

Hasselbeck remarked of Wade, “He hasn’t wasted a second of his 42 [years],” in his remarks at the reception. And that inspires me. Despite our similar age, you inspire me, friend. Every second has been used wisely. To me, you were the epitome of what it meant to be your best self. You taught me the importance of believing in one’s own abilities. You always seemed so confident in yourself, and I believed you to be absolutely insane.

 

 

 

 

Wade also shared a cute picture of himself with Union and Kaavia on his Instagram Story.

“Get you a dad that stops and gets you some ice cream at 2 a.m.,” he joked, showing a video of his daughter looking happy as she enjoyed dessert, perhaps after the festivities.

Wade’s children from a former marriage to Siovaughn Funches are Zaire, 21, and Zaya, 16. Wade and Aja Metoyer also have a 10-year-old son named Xavier. He also serves as the legal guardian of his 21-year-old nephew Dahveon Morris.
