Arsenal Players Ratings: Rain score 9; The perfect ‘number 10’

The home team held out for 31 minutes before completely breaking down and allowing the Gunners to score 4 goals before the break. West Ham’s misery continued after the restart.

Accordingly, coach Mikel Arteta and his team turned London Stadium into their own performance stage. The audience quickly witnessed two more goals before the final whistle sounded.

With the dominant victory, Arsenal moved level on points with second-placed Manchester City, despite having played one match more. West Ham has dropped to eighth place and is currently 11 points behind the top 4.

Below are the specific scores of each player, scored by 90min.

Goalkeeper: David Raya – 6/10 – Didn’t have much to do for the most part. Raya had the most leisurely match since the beginning of the season.

Right-back: Ben White – 7/10 – White, along with Raya, are probably two of the quietest players on the pitch. However, when needed, the English player still does his job well both in attack and defense.

Center back: William Saliba – 9/10 – Made an attack and scored a beautiful header. He made West Ham’s dangerous striker Bowen completely silent.

Center back: Gabriel Magalhaes – 9/10 – He scored 4 goals in the Premier League this season, on par with Gabriel Jesus. Like Saliba, Gabriel plays solidly in defense.

Left back: Jakub Kiwior – 7/10 – In a rare starting match, Kiwior had a good performance. He participates quite a lot in attacking situations.

Central midfielder: Declan Rice – 10/10 – One goal and two assists on his return to West Ham. Completely unstoppable. He was booed by the home fans when he held the ball, but he received applause afterward, with a perfect performance.

Central midfielder: Martin Odegaard – 9/10 – Played with his usual composure and grace, often finding ways to penetrate West Ham’s net time and time again.

Central midfielder: Kai Havertz – 7/10 – West Ham could not find a solution to stop Havertz from making free runs. He caused difficulties for the home team’s defense with his impressive physical base.

Right winger: Bukayo Saka – 9/10 – Partly at fault for Arsenal dropping points against West Ham last season but was a huge catalyst behind this big win. Defender Emerson Palmieri probably won’t want to see the England international again.

Striker: Leandro Trossard – 9/10 – Perfectly suited to the number 9 role, especially with Havertz regularly breaking into the middle of the field, thereby compensating for Trossard’s limited height.

Left Wing: Gabriel Martinelli – 7/10 – Unable to score or assist, Martinelli still plays an important role in the pace and relentless running of Arsenal’s attacks.
