LeBron James of the Lakers received treatment for an ankle injury prior to the 2024 NBA All-Star Game

LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers is still doing things that have never been done before in his 21st NBA season.

However, James has been battling with a bothersome ankle ailment that prevented him from playing in the Lakers’ successful game against the Utah Jazz before the break, even though he is about to start in his 20th consecutive NBA All-Star Game.

LeBron James disclosed to the media prior to Sunday’s All-Star Game that he has been receiving therapy for his ankle and will probably be limited for the Western Conference team.

It’s the most crucial thing. Yes, James admitted, “I did seek treatment in the last few days in an effort to strengthen and restore my ankle to the point where I feel comfortable finishing the remaining third of the season.”

“I definitely won’t be playing the entire game tonight. I can run around with the young boys outside for a little while before stopping to give my body—and my ankle, more importantly—an additional chance to recover.

In addition, James discussed his plans to keep improving his ankle as the Lakers look to extend their winning streak in the second half of the season if they can stay healthy.

LeBron declared, “We have quite a few days this week as well. I’m seeking some more treatment tomorrow.” “We don’t start playing till the week is over. Watch the outcome of that. However, given where I am at and where our team is at, my health is the most essential thing to me. The direction we’re going in is positive. Naturally, the focus has been on health for our Laker team the whole season. attempting to act in my own best interests while improving the team. After the All-Star break last season, the Lakers played their finest ball. They quickly clicked after the trade deadline and went all the way to the Western Conference Finals. Many of the same players are back for this season, but the Lakers’ ability to perform similarly in the second half will depend on James’ health and the return of players like Jarred Vanderbilt, Gabe Vincent, and Cam Reddish.
