Arsenal star Kai Havertz lives a wholesome life off the pitch, and he surrounds himself with his fluffy Golden Retriever, and surprisingly he also has a donkey!

It is abundantly clear that Havertz holds creatures and nature in high regard. Although his donkey ownership may come as a surprise to some, the German celebrity spends a considerable amount of his leisure time cuddling his pets.

Havertz appears to devote the majority of his online writing to Baloo, his dog. The animal lover stated that upon his arrival in England, he adopted the dog. “We decided upon our arrival that we required a dog and a garden,” Havertz explained on Extra Time of ChelseaTV. “At the time, it was crystal obvious, but I formerly resided in an apartment in Germany that lacked a garden and was too small to accommodate a dog.

. “One to two months later, we embarked on a search for the ideal candidate.” We paid some visits. We were averse to breeders whose sole motivation was financial gain for the dog. We finally identified the ideal candidate, and have had him for the past six to seven months. It is his moniker, Baloo. We are extremely pleased with him.”In contrast to his social media followers who portray a more extravagant lifestyle, the 22-year-old German appears to be quite modest, as he values the more ordinary aspects of existence. Havertz, whose hometown of Aachen was also affected by the recent heavy flooding that touched parts of Germany and Belgium, has joined the effort to donate funds in order to assist the villagers of his hometown who were impacted by the flooding. The extraordinary youth exhibits a level of maturity that belies his youth, as he has contributed $200,000 to the Red Cross Germany in the form of customized boots. These funds will be utilized to assist in the restoration of damaged homes and families in his birthplace.
