Legendary music group Metallica participates in a project to make children’s books to recount their founding history

The Instagram account of veteran rock group Metallica said that the group has participated in publishing a series of picture books for children titled ‘The ABCs of Metallica’. The book is expected to hit shelves from November 26 and will be available online.

The brightly colored tome was co-written by the team with writer Howie Abrams, while the illustrations were done by Michael “Kaves” McLeer, who previously participated in Metallica’s Obey Your Master exhibition in 2019. 2012.

The ABCs of Metallica recounts Metallica’s founding history from A to Z. In it, each letter in the alphabet will refer to a memorable moment throughout the group’s long journey in its rock performance career. , from Garage Days to Master of Puppets, and even fun little-known facts about the group.

A portion of the proceeds from book sales will be donated to All Within My Hands, a charity created by Metallica that creates sustainable communities by supporting workforce education, combating poverty hunger and other problems.

Metallica is on tour across Europe for most of this summer. In September, the band will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their live performance with the San Francisco Symphony (1999), which later released the highly successful album S&M.
