Aaron Wan-Bissaka surprised his old elementary school this week by showing up at a school event. The kids were thrilled.

Ben Shires, a kids’ TV host, came to Good Shepherd Catholic Primary School in New Addington to meet the kids this afternoon. It was going to be fun. The kids were excited before he introduced Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who used to be one of his students. That Palace right back couldn’t wait to visit his old school and inspire the kids who still went there. People shouted his name as he walked out, and he then took part in a question-and-answer session led by Shires. This question was meant to test how much the students knew about football. Three lucky students were called up to the stage.

As a last gift to the kids, he gave the school a shirt that he had worn in a game and had signed.

“It felt good,” Kanye West written. I haven’t been back for a while. It’s great to be back here because it holds all of my happy memories.

“I didn’t expect such a warm welcome; I’ve never had anything like it before, but it felt good!” If you remember, I was here ten years ago. I’ve come a long way to see how the kids responded.

A lot of the teachers knew him from when he went to this school ten years ago. “In sixth grade, I was his TA,” Elaine Snow, who used to work with him as a TA, said. He was a great kid, but our class was crazy. He loved football even back then, just like all the other boys!”

The kids had a great time and will always remember it. Aaron was glad to be back in New Addington, the town where he grew up. The shirt will be kept forever in a frame.

Colm Conneely, the cleaner, liked the player and said, “It was great to see him after all these years.” The best thing about him was that he knew my name! He never got into any trouble while he was here!”
