Coach Mikel Arteta provides updates on the health status of Saka and Martinelli

Sharing with Sky Sports, coach Mikel Arteta has updates on the health status of his two students.

Arsenal continues to show its strength in the Premier League. Mikel Arteta’s teachers and students had a brilliant 6-0 victory over Sheffield United. Stars Martin Odegaard, Kai Havertz, Gabriel Martinelli, Declan Rice, Ben White scored for the Gunners. The remaining goal came from Jayden Bogle’s own goal.

Besides the decisive victory, Arsenal fans were somewhat worried when they saw Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli leave the field in the second half. Arteta took Saka off at the beginning of the second half; Meanwhile, Martinelli limped off the field in the 63rd minute.

Sharing with Sky Sports after the match, Arteta updated his students’ situation: “Saka feels he has some health problems. Meanwhile, Fabio Vieira needs to play. Regarding Martinelli’s case, he having leg problems. We will wait to see the results.”

The victory over Sheffield United helped Arsenal closely chase Liverpool and Man City on the Premier League rankings. The Gunners are two points behind top team The Kop, one point behind Man City.

Mikel Arteta’s teachers and students will face Brentford this weekend. A few days later, the Gunners played Porto again in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16.
