Jordan and Travis have roots in North Central Ohio and the Cavaliers dating back a very long time. After attending Cleveland Heights High School together, they were both inducted into the Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame in May 2018.In observance of the brothers’ Cleveland roots, the Cavaliers are contributing money to Heights Schools Foundation Initiatives, a cause that is close to both Travis and Jason’s hearts.
Their evening at the NBA game takes place the day after Jason delivered an emotional speech announcing his 13-season NFL retirement, coinciding with Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour visit in Singapore.
The beloved Philadelphia Eagles center fought back tears to complete his speech, thanking Travis and others for helping him achieve his football objectives.Speaking of his brother, Jason reminisced about their days playing sports together as kids and the joy they had when one got chosen for the NFL.
Our household is not that big. No cousins, one aunt, and one uncle. Actually, Jason emphasized, it was only my brother and me our entire lives. “We engaged in nearly every activity together, including competition, conflict, laughter, tears, and mutual learning.”
He describes “creating games” with Travis, stating that the two of them “imagined” themselves as NFL “stаr players” in the end. “We defeated countless Super Bowl teams in our minutes before ever leaving the house,” Jordan said.
