Jessica Miller, Lars Ulrich’s wife, used all the sweetest words to praise the most perfect husband in her life

‘I Was Never Attracted To Him When I Knew Him As A Friend’: Jessica Miller, the wife of Lars Ulrich, discusses her friendship with the METALLICA drummer, referring to him as “the nicest guy” and her “best friend.”

Miller, 39, is a professional model who has been on the cover of many worldwide Vogue magazine editions. It is said that she was once in a relationship with guitarist Daron Malakian of System of a Down. She has also modeled for a number of companies, including Chanel, H&M, and Gap.

During an interview on the podcast “One Life One Chance,” which is hosted by H2O lead vocalist Toby Morse, Jessica spoke about her connection with Lars. When asked how she got to know Ulrich, Miller said, as BLABBERMOUTH.NET reported, “Music — just hаnging around shows and concerts.” We’d spent a lot of time hаnging out with our various ex-partners, either just after a concert or at parties. We would simply happen to run into each other and sаy, “Oh, hey.” It’s good to see you. Therefore, it took us a few years to really start dating once we got to know one another. We were both single at the time, and it just so happened that we ran into each other at the appropriate time and location. ‘Oh, hey,’ was how it felt, and that changed how I saw him.”

She went on, “It’s peculiar. Even though I knew him as a friend, I was never drawn to him. I used to think that Lars was the cutest man ever. You know, we meet a lot of people, and sometimes, particularly with me, they don’t remember my nаme, so I’m like, ‘What’s your nаme again?’ And Lars would always make a point of approaching Jess and saying hello. “How are you doing?” and was really the cutest man. However, as previously said, the majority of the occasions we spent time together, we were accompanied by our respective ex-partners. I never looked at Lars that way at all because I was so in love with my ex—I still am. Yet as I said before, we just happened to cross paths at the ideal moment since we were both single. It was as simple as “Oh, hey.” He’s made me see him quite differently. Since then, we have remained together.”

When Derrick Green (SEPULTURA), the podcast co-host, asked Miller whether dating a musician is difficult, she said, “I’m not sure. Naturally. I could comprehend. particularly for someone unfamiliar with or used to this kind of travel. I understand. So I could see how that would be challenging if I didn’t know that. I can see that, for example, if my spouse had a nine to five job and took two, three, or four weeks off at a period to do God knows what and I was ignorant of it. However, I understand. In that sense, I’ve been traveling for a very long time doing the same thing, the same performance. And I’m appreciative that I could essentially work remotely, particularly while I was modeling. Thus, I could accompany Lars. Most of the time, I travel with him. And I adore it. I like being in a musical environment. Thus, it’s not difficult in that sense.

“He’ll even sаy it — he’s the biggest METALLICA fan on the planet,” Jessica said. “So he’s a huge music enthusiast as well. All we can sаy is that we both adore music. To be honest, it’s not difficult at all for me [laughs]. It’s very amazing. My best buddy is him.”

Jessica has become an animal rights activist in recent years. According to Animal Place, Jessica’s transformation from runway model to cat mother and her enduring concern for animals reached a new height when she adopted her four kittens. She discovered that she was helping at a nearby cat rescue and becoming a vegetarian. But later, after learning more about the suffering that animals go through in the dairy and egg industries, she decided to become a vegan because she believed that all animals should be treated with the same kindness and consideration as her own four.

Ulrich, 59, and Miller tied the knot two years after becoming engaged in July 2013. Lars was previously married to Debbie Jones and Skylar Satenstein. This is his third marriage.

Ulrich is the father of three boys: Bryce, with Danish actress Connie Nielsen, and Myles and Layne, with Satenstein.

Ulrich wished Miller a happy 39th birthday on Instagram this past February, writing, “Happiest Birthday baby!!!” in the caption.
