Experience Lukas Podolski’s Legendary Kebab: Arsenal Icon’s Sandwich Defies Expectations!

LUKAS PODOLSKI is a kebab-making expert in addition to being a World Cup champion and goalscorer.

Construction of his own business enterprise has increased the former Arsenal and Germany star’s net worth to nearly £180 million.

I went to visit one of his thirty restaurants in Germany, including four in his hometown of Cologne, where he resides with his adored family. He has already opened four more.

This is no ordinary kebab store; it is sleek, a video screen on the wall displays Poldi’s goals for Germany, Arsenal, and FC Koln, and the aroma of freshly baked bread immediately envelops you. It is situated mere yards from the renowned Cathedral of Cologne.

The server informs me that the Poldi Sandwich, which I ordered, is more of a traditional kebab. In addition, an open pizza, a salad accompanied by the meats, and falafel kebabs are also available.

This kebab, however, is not conventional.

The Poldi Sandwich is accompanied by its signature fresh bread, which is a hybrid of a pitta and a roll. It is golden brown on the outside and fluffy and light on the inside, unlike the flaccid pitta you get at the local restaurant.

Doner meat, although poultry is also available; an abundance of salad and chili sauce, accompanied by a small amount of yoghurt.

It was enormous, and although I contemplated using a knife and fork to cut it, I decided to simply apply it to my face.

The meat was succulent and recently prepared, the salad was crisp, and the chili sauce was vibrant. I am indebted to that portion of yoghurt.
