Manchester United forward Alejandro Garnacho has decided to get another tattoo while out on the sidelines. Some fans are only just discovering that Alejandro Garnacho has a tattoo sleeve dedicated to hit TV series Prison Break on his arm.
The 18-year-old Argentine forward, who is currently out injured with damaged ankle ligaments following a nasty clash against Southampton, has an array of different tattoos on his body.
Inspired by his favourite childhood cartoon, the Manchester United forward covered his lower leg with a scene from Captain Tsubas – a Japanese manga series that heavily revolves around football.
Garnacho also has a large tattoo on his left hand of actress Millie Bobby Brown during her stint on popular science fiction show Stranger Things. And as well as the above, Garnacho has the characters Michael Schofield, Lincoln Burrows and Theodore “T-Bag” Bagwell from popular American TV series Prison Break inked into his right arm.
We can only assume that Prison Break – an action thriller that aired between 2005 and 2017 – is one of the teenager’s favourite things to watch on Netflix.
Here’s how fans on social media reacted to the tattoo when he posted a picture on his Instagram story this week.
One said: “Can’t get my head around the ‘Prison Break’ stuff,” while another commented: “He really has a prison break tattoo???? He has teabag tatted on him????”
A third wrote: “Why does Michael Scofield look like Phil Jones ffs.”
A fourth added: “My man got all of prison break tattooed on his body brother where you actually trynna break from??”Ahead of Manchester United’s Premier League clash against Wolves in December, Garnacho posted an Instagram story of himself getting a new tattoo on his leg.
It didn’t go down well with some United fans considering they had a match coming up in just two days.
One fan said: “Tattoo today game Saturday!?!? What in the infection is going on,” while another tweeted: “With a match Saturday… timing poor here.”
A third added: “Got a game in less than 48 hours. Can’t imagine that’s going to be ideal.”

In terms of an injury update, Erik ten Hag has suggested Alejandro Garnacho’s ankle issue is more serious than expected.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of their Europa League clash against Sevilla, the United manager said: “Both [Shaw and Garnacho] are not available, definitely the injury to Garnacho is more severe but I expect Shaw back on shorter notice.”
The Argentine has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign at Old Trafford this season, making 31 appearances in all competitions for the Reds.
