Arsenal scoring: Disappointing Saka; Disaster point 4

Joshua Kimmich’s second-half header was enough to give Bayern victory over Mikel Arteta’s side at the Allianz Arena

Arsenal’s season is on the brink of collapse after defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. Joshua Kimmich’s second-half header was enough to seal a 1-0 victory for the home team at Allianz Arena, giving them a 3-2 aggregate victory.

It was a disappointing night for the Gunners, who despite dominating much of the game never really had a chance to score against Bayern. The defeat left Arsenal’s hopes of a successful season hаnging in the balance. The Gunners previously lost to Aston Villa, leaving them behind Manchester City in the Premier League title race.

Goal page scored Arsenal players after the match at Allianz Arena, below are the scores of each player.

Goalie

David Raya (6): He didn’t have much to do and couldn’t do anything more in the only goal he lost.

Defender

Ben White (6): He worked hard in defense, but it would have been better to see White supporting Saka when he had the ball.

William Saliba (7): He had a good match against Kane. The young midfielder looked calm in such a big match.

Gabriel Magalhaes (7): He was unfazed throughout the match. Strong as always against Kane.

Takehiro Tomiyasu (7): The Japanese player also performed well on his flank to stop Sane.

Midfielder

Jorginho (6): Struggled a bit in the first 15 minutes, but he stabilized and had a solid performance after that.

Declan Rice (6): Rice couldn’t really dominate the midfield. His best form came at the beginning of the second half, but faded after Bayern took the lead.

Martin Odegaard (6): The captain had a diligent performance but did not hold the ball well enough in dangerous areas to hurt the Bayern defense.

аttаck

Bukayo Saka (4): This winger always seems to be on the sidelines of every situation. Bayern did a great job keeping him quiet and out of possession in this match.

Kai Havertz (5): The German star caused Bayern’s defense some problems with his movement and physicality, but was unable to get a big chance to convert into a goal.

Gabriel Martinelli (4): Worked hard throughout the match to link up with Tomiyasu on the left wing. He could have done better with a big chance in the first half, but put the ball straight at Neuer, and then failed to keep up with Kimmich in the decisive situation.

Reserve player

Leandro Trossard (5): No impact when replacing Martinelli.

Gabriel Jesus (5): Couldn’t make a difference after being put on the field.

Eddie Nketia (Not scored): Only involved in the last few minutes.
