Arsenal and adidas Originals have maintained their collaboration by releasing a new collection that draws inspiration from their initial collaboration, which took place between 1986 and 1994. The set includes the distinctive football jersey together with a hooded sweatshirt, T-shirt, and zipped jacket.
The shirt, which is available in both short- and long-sleeve versions, is a reimagining of the away uniform used during the 1993–1994 campaign. The adidas EQT logo, old Arsenal crest, and diagonal stripes make this yellow design stand out.
Legendary Arsenal player Ian Wright revealed the collection, saying:
“Playing in the adidas EQT jersey during the 1993/94 season brings back wonderful memories for me, and it’s wonderful to commemorate that time with a collection this complete and appropriate.
The selection includes all the classics, and we enjoyed acting out our various parts on the set. We had won the Cup Winners Cup that season, so now that it’s back, we need to win something. I even had to remind a few guys and girls on the first squad.
The collection will be worn by the men’s and women’s teams of Arsenal in the run-up to four important matches between December 9 and December 15. All of the items will go on sale on December 13 via the adidas online store and official club stores.
