Jadon Sancho returns to Manchester United training for the first time in TEN months, as Ten Hag chooses to draw line under bust-up

Jadon Sancho is back in full training with Manchester United after a 10-month absence! The winger allegedly had constructive meetings with manager Erik ten Hag this week, deciding to move on from their earlier problems.

This is a fresh start for both Sancho and the Red Devils. He will practice at Carrington alongside key players such as Marcus Rashford.

Sancho took a lengthy hiatus after appearing in the Champions League final for Borussia Dortmund on loan. While he has now fully recovered, he will not participate in the team’s friendly against Rosenborg on Monday. This is just because he started preseason training later than his peers.

Manchester United is focusing on bringing the 24-year-old England international up to speed. They reported that Sancho returned for testing on Wednesday before starting full group training on Thursday.

This week, the Red Devils confirmed the return of several key players, including Andre Onana, Casemiro, Mason Mount, and Marcus Rashford.

Remember that Sancho’s relationship with Ten Hag deteriorated last September after he was dropped for a Premier League match. Ten Hag questioned Sancho’s training performance, but the player responded on social media, saying he had been a “scapegoat for a long time.”

Sancho’s failure to apologize resulted in his exclusion from the team. He was later loaned back to Borussia Dortmund in January. There, he restored his form and even inspired some England return speculation, but he ultimately missed out on Gareth Southgate’s Euro 2024 selection.

Fortunately, Sancho and Ten Hag appear to have put their differences behind them. With his return to training, Sancho has an opportunity to establish himself to the new boss and maybe become a crucial player for Manchester United once more.
