Ramsey and his family bought a five-bedroom home in the affluent Lisvane area of Cardiff.
The property spans 20 acres and contains a lake, three-hole golf course, swimming pool, snooker room, gym, steam room, and helicopter pad.
When it was last for sale in 2012, Rightmove characterized it as: “An extraordinary home of considerable style and quality, built in the owners’ vision of their perfect home, drawing influences from their extensive travels across the world’s continents.”
“It has the essence of a Welsh longhouse but incorporates Mediterranean, Californian, North African, and Asian influences, all of which work together to create the most exquisite result.

“The end result combines the most pleasant of contrasts in that it is coolly minimalist whilst being sumptuously luxurious.”
According to reports in Cardiff, Ramsey’s Wales team-mate Gareth Bale is interested in the home, and the Real Madrid star is considering extending the 12,000 sq ft mansion.
Ramsey is said to have purchased the gated home from successful Welsh businessman Alan Peterson.

Ramsey’s new neighbors include Hayley Parsons, founder of GoCompare, and Peter Thomas, chairman of professional rugby team the Cardiff Blues.
However, Ramsey’s crown gem will be the helicopter pad, which will ensure he is never more than an hour away from Arsenal’s London Colney training facility.
