On Saturday, Arsenal’s Jorginho and United’s Mount met at the SoFi Stadium in California during their summer tour in the US.

After Arsenal’s 2-1 victory over Chelsea, the two midfielders chatted cheerfully. Chelsea’s performance was dismal, losing 4-1 to Celtic.

Some Chelsea fans were saddened as they remembered winning trophies at Stamford Bridge, such as the Champions League and Fifa Club World Cup, before their abrupt departure.

One admirer wrote, “I feel sad watching this for some reason.”

Another remarked, “Both seem so damn happy, bro!”

A third joked, “Did you watch the Chelsea game earlier?”

This fan commented, “They seem delighted by the look of it.”

And that one said, “I miss my guy @mount.”

Mount, a Chelsea academy graduate, left Stamford Bridge in 2023 after 18 years with the club, during which he scored 33 goals and assisted 35 times in 195 appearances.

The playmaker joined Premier League rivals United after feeling he was not part of owners Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital’s plans.
