Fans of Arsenal turn on Xhaka after he makes mean comments about them out of the blue

Maybe a few honest truths are what made Arsenal fans turn so mean against Granit Xhaka.

The former leader of Arsenal left for Bayer Leverkusen last summer, even though the team had a great season under Mikel Arteta.

Fans of Arsenal were sad to see Xhaka go, but the midfielder’s deal was up in the summer after this one.

So, the Gunners made sure that the Swiss international wouldn’t be able to leave as a free agent, and they sold him for £21.5 million.

The chance was there for Xhaka to make it happen, and he was a big reason why Leverkusen won their first Bundesliga title, ending Bayern Munich’s 11-year rule.

In light of this, the Swiss leader told the German newspaper Bild, “Moving from Arsenal to Bayer Leverkusen was not a step back.”

“No, two steps forward instead.” Now is the time to do better than we did last year.

Many people were surprised when Xhaka became the heartbeat of Xavi Alonso’s famous “Invincibles” team.

The 31-year-old started 32 of the 34 league games, missing only one because he was suspended and the other because the title was already out of reach on the last day.

After losing to Atalanta 3-0, they had to settle for second place in the Europa League. However, they won the German Cup by finishing 17 points ahead of Thomas Tuchel’s Munich.

Arsenal, on the other hand, didn’t win any trophies last season because they finished two points behind Manchester City, who won the Premier League.

When the Gunners were trying to win the title, they lost to Liverpool early in the FA Cup at the Emirates. This came after they were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by West Ham 3-1 in November.

And Xhaka’s harsh words have shocked and upset fans.

One Arsenal fan went straight to X and wrote, “No way he’s cooking us lowkey here.”

Someone else wrote, “HE COOKED ARSENAL!!!😂”

What did the third person say? “Playing in a farmers league is not a step forward.”

While a fan of the other team said, “The words of a free man.”

Xhaka caused a lot of trouble at Arsenal.

The Swiss star was signed by Arsene Wenger and worked his way up to captain of the team under Unai Emery.

He was captain, but he lost it after asking the fans to “f*** off” when they booed him in a 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace.

But Xhaka made his way back into the team when Mikel Arteta was manager. He was an important part of the team that finished second in 2023 before moving to Leverkusen.
