Bukayo Saka scored as Arsenal got their league season off to a winning start

Michael Arteta said that Arsenal’s winger Bukayo Saka was like Lionel Messi after the winger scored and set up a goal against Wolves to give Arsenal a winning start in their title challenge.

Saka set up Kai Havertz’s first goal with a header in the first half. He then scored himself with a sharp cut inside goalie Jose Sa’s near post on 74 minutes.

He said, “With good players, it’s like that,” when asked why players can’t stop Saka from cutting in on his left foot.

“I know that Lionel Messi will come here and put the ball there because he does it all the time.” He can’t be stopped. That shows how good the players are.

Arteta also praised the way his foreign stars thought – they played in the Euros and trained while they were on vacation.

Saka and Kai Havertz scored the goals as the Gunners took all three points at the Emirates

The Gunners won all three points at the Emirates thanks to goals from Saka and Kai Havertz.

Saka, Declan Rice, and David Raya all missed Arsenal’s pre-season tour of the US, but they all came back for the first game of the season, which was only 34 days after the Euros finished.

He said, “It doesn’t surprise me that they came back right away.” That’s how they felt right away after the last game. “I’ll be ready for the first game,” they said. After the summer, I talked to them and tried to make a plan.

“They wanted to come back early.” While they were on vacation, they were already getting ready. These are the kinds of thoughts we need.

“If players give in like that, it will spread through the team, and they’ll step up their game.” We need that.

“I thought we were good,” Wolves manager Gary O’Neil said. I was happy. Even though I don’t like losing, we played well against Arsenal. We didn’t give them too many chances.

“At 1-0 down, I thought we had a better chance of staying in the game and having a chance than they did.”

“They found two good moments, and we just missed a few of ours.”
