Liverpool star Luis Diaz has made a desperate plea to Mohamed Salah to stay with the club.
Salah is largely regarded as one of Liverpool’s best players of the modern era, scoring 214 goals in 352 games for the club, the most recent coming against arch rivals Manchester United this weekend.
After the game, the attacker hinted that the current season would be his last with the club. He clarified that his contract expires shortly and he is not yet in talks for a new deal.
Diaz scored twice in the game, with both goals assisted by the Egyptian. However, the two stars may only have a few more games to play together.
Now on international duty with Colombia, Diaz has spoken about what it would be like to lose Salah, who could leave the club for free next summer if he does not sign a new contract.

The Reds forward raised eyebrows at the weekend by saying that he is presently in his ‘last year’ at Liverpool.
He reiterated that his current deal ends at the conclusion of the season, and no conversations have occurred.
Diaz admitted to Telemundo that it would be difficult for them. ‘It would be tough for Liverpool.
“It’s going to damage us a lot. He still has a year to think about it; it is not easy. He always does his utmost best.
‘He has done it from the beginning. It would be difficult to lose a crucial player like him. It is his decision, and we respect it, but I hope he does not go.
Salah told Sky Sports at Old Trafford on Sunday: “I was coming to the game and I said, “look, it could be the last time (at Old Trafford)”.
‘No one from the club has spoken to me about contracts yet. It is not up to me; it is up to the club, but we shall see.
‘As you know, this is my last year with the club. I simply want to enjoy it. I do not want to think about the deal. I feel free to play football, and we’ll see what happens next year.’
The Egyptian joined the club from Roma in 2017 for £34 million and has since won the Champions League, Premier League, and other titles on Merseyside.
He is one of three key Liverpool players whose contracts expire next summer, with no agreement reached with any of the players.
Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk, like Salah, have less than a year remaining on their contracts, and Reds fans are becoming concerned about their futures.

Salah has scored 214 goals in 352 games for Liverpool since joining from Roma in 2017.
Diaz, meanwhile, joined the club for £50 million a little more than two years ago and has scored 27 goals in 101 games.
He struggled for consistency under Jurgen Klopp, but has played an important role for Arne Slot this season, starting all three Premier League games and scoring three times.
