With his remarks following Arsenal’s Champions League triumph over PSG, Kai Havertz has infuriated Chelsea supporters.

Continuing his outstanding start to the season, 25-year Havertz scored the opening goal in the Gunners’ 2-0 victory over the French giants on Tuesday.

Following from strength-to–strength in his second year at the Emirates after coming from Chelsea for £65million last summer, the German has net five times in nine outings in all competitions.

Havertz was a member of the Blues side that emerged Champions League winners at Stamford Bridge.

Havertz penned himself into mythology at Chelsea by finishing the final against Man City with Thomas Tuchel’s team winning 1-0.

The German joined the Chelsea squad that became victorious in the top club competition in Europe in 2021.

Speaking following the Gunners’ triumph on Tuesday, Havertz – who scored 32 goals in 139 games for the Blues – infuriated Chelsea fans when asked about Arsenal’s performance in Europe’s top club competition.

‘Winning the Champions League is a great feeling,’ he remarked. Still, it would be much better if I could accomplish this with Arsenal*.

It would mean a whole deal more.

As they voiced their opinions on social media, several Chelsea supporters were ready to respond at the 25-year-old.

‘To score the second largest goal in Chelsea history and be disliked by all the fans should tell you exactly how horrible a guy Havertz is,’ one enraged supporter remarked.

‘I’ve never seen somebody as unappreciative as this guy,’ another said.

Other fans stacked in and attacked Havertz for publicly sharing his opinions.

One said: “He just about won it with us after almost fluffing a significant opportunity… and he believes he can achieve it with Arsenal. Then another added in: “We made you, you cretin,” poor guy lol.

Before Bayern Munich eliminated them, Arsenal advanced to the quarter-finals of last season’s Champions League.

Though many other supporters poured cold water on Havertz’s aspirations of hoisting the title again, the Gunners remain among the favorites for this year’s championship based on their comfortable win against PSG.

One said: ‘I hate to break it to you Kai, but that’s never happening. unlucky.”

‘Good luck with that,’ another supporter replied, then a last fan remarked: ‘It won’t happen at Arsenal though.'”

Following a draw and a win in their two games, Arsenal presently ranks ninth in the Champions League league stage.

Side face future league stage games against Shakhtar Donetsk, Inter Milan, Sporting Lisbon, Monaco, Dinamo Zagreb, and Girona Mikel Arteta.

On Saturday, they go back to work when they challenge struggling Southampton at home in the Premier League.
