Bukayo Saka has ongoing injuries that would be well-suited for Arsenal to get a player who will cover for him at worst.

Although Mikel Arteta was offered encouragement ahead of Arsenal’s game against Liverpool, a game in which Saka scored incidentally and established a record in so process, the international ace was ruled out of a recent England encounter.

Saka, who is just 23 years old, is already among Mikel Arteta’s most valuable players, although his injury record raises some doubts regarding his availability.

Over the past few seasons, Transfermarkt notes he has experienced a knee injury, hamstring injury, ankle injury, hip problems, dead leg, thigh problems, and a leg injury which should cause concern.

Maybe with this in mind, Football Insider says the Gunners are interested in acquiring Leroy Sane from Bayern Munich.

With his Bayern contract coming to expire in June, the former Man City ace could definitely offer the North Londoners something unique and will most likely be one of the most sought after free transfers next summer.

Former Premier League scout Mick Brown told Football Insider “They’re ( Arsenal) definitely among the interested clubs.”

“He’s still only 28, yet he’s tremendously successful with explosive speed. It’s a good age.

“I’ve often puzzled why Man City let him leave, and why no clubs in England had tried to sign him before he moved to Bayern, but now with his contract predicament, I would expect to see him depart.

Based what I have heard, Arsenal is quite interested in him. He can cover Saka, much needed, and play on the left.

These days, other clubs also pique their interest. We have discussed Newcastle already; there are others.

“But Arsenal is definitely sharp, and I believe they have been working on this in background for some time.

“Not only would he add quality to their side, but he also brings winning experience—always something clubs like Arsenal are trying to bring in.”
