After seeing Arsenal’s 1-0 loss to Newcastle United, supporters have seen a very concerning trend under Mikel Arteta.
The Gunners were hoping to resume their winning ways in the Premier League after losing to Bournemouth 2-0 and drawing with Liverpool 2-2.
However, after Alexander Isak headed home the game’s lone goal from an incredible Anthony Gordon cross in the first half, Arteta’s team suffered yet another away loss.
Following the defeat, Arsenal may lag behind title contenders Manchester City and Liverpool, and fans are in accord regarding the team’s main problem.
Although injuries and suspensions have been an issue lately, many believe the club has become dependent on set pieces and is not producing clear-cut opportunities from open play.
Additionally, even if this season’s set pieces have been excellent, the final third’s lack of creativity has grown to be a major source of worry.
“Without Odegaard or a creative midfielder, this team cannot create chances,” one supporter stated. Give Saka and hope or set pieces, please. Nothing once more.
Another said, “How the do we only look dangerous from set pieces kmt wtf is wrong with this club man.”
A third concurred: “Right now, we’re a pretty easy squad to play. Keep your set pieces safe and stop Saka’s supply. It appears that the rest of our onslaught is lost.
A fourth yelled: “The second half had no shots on goal. Many thanks, @m8arteta. Simply concentrate on scoring from set pieces each week.
A fifth statement was made: “Arsenal really mostly rely on set pieces or cross and nod for chance creation now, grim watch.”

Arsenal could end eight points behind leaders City if they win at Bournemouth, while they could even find themselves in seventh place by the end of the weekend depending how results play out.
Fans think Mikel Arteta is destined to go ‘trophyless’ at Arsenal following his response to question after Newcastle defeat
Supporters think Mikel Arteta will be “trophyless” at Arsenal because of his response to a question after the team’s crushing defeat by Newcastle United.
On Saturday, St. James’ Park defeated Arsenal 1-0 thanks to a goal from Alexander Isak.
He skillfully finished Anthony Gordon’s lovely cross in the 12th minute.
Since overcoming Southampton 2-1 after rallying from behind on October 5, the Gunners have not triumphed in a league match.
Since beating the Saints, Arteta’s club has lost at Bournemouth and drawn 2-2 at home against Liverpool.
After their latest setback, Arsenal fans vented their feelings on social media, noticing a worrying pattern.
After the game, Arteta was asked if his team lacked a player like Isak because of the lack of inventiveness in the last third.
But when he said, “I don’t know,” he rejected the idea that a real forward was required. I love my players, and I wouldn’t exchange them for anyone else.

Arteta’s response to the question during his post-match press conference was criticized by both Arsenal and opposing supporters.
One X user said, “That’s why he’ll go trophyless.”
“He’s lying,” someone else said. He’d take Isak in no time, hehe.
“This guy has completely lost the plot,” stated a fourth critic. We needed a lethal striker, and Sterling was it. He had better have some and go if Arsenal doesn’t win a championship.
Someone else shouted: “You arrogant jerk. For this reason, we don’t win anything.”
Arsenal is currently in fourth place following their second league defeat of the year.
They had 18 points from their first 10 games before playing Chelsea on November 10 to start their league campaign again.
