Our first-team players were back in the thick of things at the Sobha Realty Training Center for one last training session before their trip to Lisbon. This was after their 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest.

On Tuesday, they go to the home of the defending Portuguese champions Sporting CP to try to stop their perfect start to the league season. If they succeed, they will tie our opponents on points at the end of the fifth matchday.

That was the main goal of training today, when Mikel Arteta’s plan was explained to his players, who want to bring the three points they want back to these shores.
