After enjoying their 3-0 success against Nottingham Forest, our first-team squad were back in the thick of the action at the Sobha Realty Training Centre as they enjoyed one last training session before heading to Lisbon.

On Tuesday, they will go to the home of reigning Portuguese champions Sporting CP in an attempt to break their unbeaten start to this season’s league stage and draw level with our opponents at the end of Matchday 5.

That was the clear focus throughout training today as Mikel Arteta delivered his gameplan to his players, who are hoping to return to these shores with the three points they seek.
