Arsenal is reportedly looking to strengthen their squad by pursuing Borussia Dortmund star Jamie Bynoe-Gittens in the upcoming transfer windows. The Gunners are competing to sign the former Manchester City prospect.

Bynoe-Gittens recently scored his fourth Bundesliga goal this season in a 1-1 draw against Bayern Munich, contributing to Dortmund’s strong performance and marking just their third dropped points of the campaign.

With four goals in the Champions League as well, he has been recognized by fans as a “difference-maker,” attracting interest from several clubs, including Arsenal.

The Gunners have reportedly initiated talks to bring Bynoe-Gittens on board, as they seek to enhance their wing options and improve squad depth.

The report from Sky Sports Germany states that Arsenal are interested in securing the signature of Bynoe-Gittens – though other clubs from the Premier League could be joining them.

Arsenal has shown interest in Bynoe-Gittens, with Mikel Arteta initiating discussions with his recruitment team to explore a potential transfer. Liverpool, Chelsea, and Tottenham Hotspur are also reportedly considering signing the young talent. However, Borussia Dortmund seems unconcerned about a sale at this time, as the Reading-born winger feels settled in the Bundesliga.

Bynoe-Gittens’ advisor, Emeka Obasi, maintains a strong relationship with Dortmund and is in touch regarding his future. The player signed a contract until 2028 over a year ago and currently has no plans to return to England, though he envisions playing in the Premier League eventually. Dortmund is also reliant on transfer fees, and he could follow in the footsteps of stars like Jadon Sancho and Jude Bellingham, who were sold for significant amounts.

Arsenal seeks a right-winger to support Bukayo Saka, and Bynoe-Gittens, who can play on both wings, might raise questions about Gabriel Martinelli’s long-term position at the club. Nevertheless, Arteta’s primary goal is to strengthen the squad for a successful season.
