Anthony Gordon set tongues wagging during Newcastle’s 2-0 victory over Arsenal on Tuesday night as he recreated Thierry Henry’s iconic celebration.  Eddie Howe’s side shocked the Gunners in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final at the Emirates thanks to goals from the in-form Alexander Isak and Gordon.

However, it was after the winger’s goal that fans noticed what the Newcastle star had done. It came when he tucked home having reacted first after David Raya saved a shot from Isak on 51 minutes.

Having seen his effort hit the back of the net, Gordon ran along the touchline to celebrate in front of the buoyant travelling supporters. As the fans lapped up their side being 2-0 up, Gordon put one arm on his hip and rested the other on the corner flag.
