How PSG feel about selling Lee Kang-in to Arsenal with Newcastle also keen on £18.8m man
TBR Football have now received information regarding PSG and Lee Kang-in amid rumours Arsenal are keen on the South Korean. With Mikel Arteta in need of some attacking flair after Bukayo Saka tore his hamstring, there has been talk of Arsenal making a move for the PSG No.19 this month.
Not only is the England international sidelined, but the Gunners are also currently without Ethan Nwaneri and Raheem Sterling, so the squad is very thin – so much so that Arsenal could not even field nine senior players in training this week with the likes of Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu missing too.
With speculation about Lee Kang-in currently rife, TBR Football have now been told whether PSG are actually willing to let the South Korea international leave Paris this Winter.
PSG unwilling to sanction Lee Kang-in departure
Sources have informed Graeme Bailey – Chief Correspondent at TBR Football – that PSG are keen to keep the attacking midfielder at the Parc des Princes this month.
We understand Newcastle and Manchester City also like Lee along with Arsenal – although PSG view the man from Incheon as a vital player for the future, with little intention of sanctioning a departure.
The 23-year-old is under contract at PSG until June 2028, and seeing as the French giants are one of Europe’s wealthiest sides, it seems unlikely that any of the aforementioned Premier League trio would be able to tempt them into a sale with a significant bid.
