Kai Havertz poses for a picture in a knee brace – as Arsenal forward continues his recovery from season-ending hamstring surgery

Arsenal star Kai Havertz has been pictured in a knee brace as he recovers from the hamstring injury that brought his season to a premature end last month.  Havertz, 25, suffered the injury during a pressing drill when Arsenal were on a mid-season break in Dubai on February 12.

Now, he has been pictured with his friend Senyo, who runs a male grooming business and a barber shop based in Portobello Road, west London.  The German international was seen with the same knee brace that has been fitted following his surgery – with a pair of crutches also visible in the photo.

Senyo has become notorious for his stylish haircut offerings, which has seen him trim the hair of Mason Mount and Enzo Fernandez in the past.

The barber charges £65 for a haircut but also offers a call-out service at the price of £250 for a call-out service for clients who want to have him make a home visit.

Following his recent surgery, Havertz posted on social media: ‘The last few days have been tough to process both physically and mentally.

‘But yesterday was a good day. A successful op. Thanks for all the messages of support over the last few days, it’s helped.

‘I’m now focused on my journey to full fitness and giving all the support I can give to the team in the background.’

His injury came as a blow to the Gunners’ title hopes, with Gabriel Jesus, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli all sidelined themselves.

Mikel Arteta’s side have struggled in front of goal as a result, failing to score in back-to-back Premier League games against West Ham and Nottingham Forest.

That has seen them fall 13 points behind pace-setters Liverpool in the title race with Arsenal having only 11 games left to catch them.

The north London side are next in action on Tuesday, when they travel to the Netherlands to face PSV Eindhoven in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie.  Their next Premier League fixture sees them visit Old Trafford to play Manchester United on Sunday March 9.
